Aberdair Aviation provides both long term Contract and short term Charter solutions for our clients … operating both fixed wing and helicopter aircraft.
Aberdair specializes in the delivery of contract aviation services in challenging and austere environments to clients in the following three key sectors:
Humanitarian and Peacekeeping Sector
Aberdair has supported the exploration and production activities of a range of oil, gas and mining companies … predominantly in Africa … for more than 15 years. Our extensive experience has given us a thorough understanding of this sector which we call upon when working with our clients to design and deliver tailor-made aviation solutions, including our ability to comply with Local Content requirements as and where required.
We have had a long association with the UN’s aviation contracting bodies, both UN WFP (humanitarian) and UN DFS (peacekeeping), and our pan-African footprint enables us to respond to their requirements in a timely and cost effective manner. Aberdair has also worked with other key humanitarian agencies that require contract aviation support including International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) and a range of international Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) such as Oxfam and Save The Children.
Aberdair has worked with a range of host and foreign government agencies, both directly and as sub-contractor to a Prime, to provide discreet and reliable passenger and cargo air transport, special mission operations and in-country maintenance and logistical support.
